Whether you want to explore the beautiful Bow River or head to the scenic Vermilion Lakes, a Banff Canoe Club membership makes your rentals more affordable.

Think you'll visit us more than once this season? If so, then a Banff Canoe Club membership is perfect for you.

 

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Simply click on "Join the Club" and fill in the details (name, address etc).  Pay the $35 membership fee and finalize the booking. An email confirmation will be sent, outlining all of the membership details. (You can also join the club on site at the docks).

  • The membership fee is a one time cost of $35 and is valid for the current paddling season.  (see benefits below)

  • Your membership card will be waiting for collection from the Banff Canoe Club on your first visit. Please bring photo ID.

  • Canoe & Kayak rental rates of $30 per hour and SUP for $20/ hour for the entire season (Non members pay $60 for one hour rental and $30/ hour for SUP)

BCC MEMBERSHIP DETAILS:

  • Once you join the club, you will be issued a BCC membership card. Please bring this card (along with matching ID) when you rent.
  • You will need to show your membership card to receive discounts on bike rentals and rafting trips
  • Only 1 person in the boat needs to be a member to receive the special rental rates. We encourage members to bring guests and introduce them to paddling.
  • Memberships are non transferrable or refundable

*Bow Valley Locals (Banff, Canmore and Lake Louise residents) receive special local rates and do not require a membership

Public Welcome

The Banff Canoe Club welcomes everyone! If you choose not to join the Banff Canoe Club, you can still rent a canoe / kayak or SUP as a non – member. Check out our rental rates here.

Boat Availability

Our fleet includes 30 Clipper canoes and 14 Perception kayaks. We also have some Stand Up paddleboards available for offsite rentals. Rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. 

 

Experience required?

No previous experience is required to rent. Boat dock staff will offer a short orientation for all  guests new to the equipment.
 

Guest policies

Canoe rental rates are based on 2 people in a canoe. A 3rd person in the canoe is an additional $10. 

CORPORATE PASS:

•2 hour canoe rental for pass holder*

A personalized corporate pass will be provided upon purchase. Guests must present the pass at the time of rental

Restrictions:

• Corporate Pass cannot be used on stat holidays.

• *Corporate Pass is valid for the individuals in the boat. i.e The pass cannot be used multiple times in a day for the same guests.

• Rental is subject to availability on weekends. Pass is not available to use on SUP or kayak rentals

 

 

INDIVIDUAL SEASON PASS:

$399.00

• Unlimited 2 hour canoe / kayak rentals*
• Valid for you and a guest

A personalized season pass (with photo) will be provided upon purchase. Guests must present the pass at the time of rental

* valid for one 2 hour rental per day. Not valid on SUP rental
